Choice Hotels International has launched the new Phoenix-based division SkyTouch Technology® to create and market cloud-based technology products that can help hoteliers improve their efficiency and profitability. The first product for the new unit is SkyTouch Hotel OS®, a property and rate management solution based on Choice’s award-winning choiceADVANTAGE property management system. With more than 5,500 successful installations in Choice-branded hotels worldwide, choiceADVANTAGE has become the most used cloud-based property management system.
Ric Leutwyler, named one of the Top 25 Most Extraordinary Minds in Sales and Marketing for 2010 by the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association, will lead SkyTouch Technology® as division president.
